destiny 2 best pvp weapons 2020

There is also a timed trigger pull mechanic that controls when grenades explode, all of which takes substantial time to learn. I find lower ELO teammates especially guilty of this. Fusion Rifles in my opinion are a bit rarer than Shotguns and Snipers, and seem to be a love it or hate it weapon type. A good example of this is the Fighting Lion, which is deadly in the hands of a Grenade Launcher veteran, but is difficult to aim and use for the average player. On PC it's basically just 5 mobility. Not only does more ammo directly make you stronger, it gives you more opportunities to experiment, practice and learn your guns. Worm is good too tho. Shotgunners tend to trade more often and 2 ammo per brick tends to be enough for shotgunners. There are lots of strong exotic armors but you generally speaking can't go wrong with these. Other Primary weapons such as Scout rifles and Pulse rifles are only good at long range, meaning these pair best with Shotguns. My loadout has mobility at 35, with traction on my boots to get to 50, then dragons shadow gets me to mobility. If you're bad you're going to waste the extra ammo and if you're good you dont need it. Yes, this was some great stuff! Fusion Rifles and Grenade launchers are also strong but you can explore these at your own leisure. Playing an open lane? I terms of value per energy, nothing beats getting 15 points in a stat for 3 energy. I've also never played on controller so don't deem myself worthy to provide any controller advice. Whilst I would love to include every last "strong" pvp weapon in the game, remember this list is geared towards newer players so certain strong weapons will be excluded if I deem they are not new player friendly, or are largely gimmicky or inconsistant. I simply dont agree. This means high handling, and Snapshot Sights. I tend to recommend Shotguns and Snipers for most players. Likewise, Fusion rifles are also effective at a variety of ranges and pair well with many primary weapons. Thorn and most Hand cannons are strong anywhere from close range to mid-long range making them versatile enough to use with practically any loadout. I find I trade alot more often with shotguns, and it's much harder to get within shotgun range of enemies to use ammo that frequently. PvP being as complicated as it is, I VERY quickly overshot discord's maximum allowed 2, character limit per post and instead decided to post here on Reddit instead. When playing with a shotgun, you can get away without a 2nd Scavenger mod if I'll be perfectly honest. A whole team with no scavenger mods is really painful. It also doesn't buff sprint speed. On Console in particular Traction might well be worth more than scavenger honestly, that extra turn radius with a low sens look speed is really good. This guide was created on behalf of the Destiny 2 PC LFG Discord community due to ongoing discussions and questions about what weapons newer players should farm or look for, which spurred me and my good friend Eva to create a couple of quick guides on weapons to look for. Grenade Launchers are another love it or hate it weapon archetype. But should you put in some effort to learn how to use them, Fusion Rifles can prove extremely powerful. And even if you do manage to get in, there is a concurent users limit of 95, people so if there is k people waiting to use the server, 15k of them get put into a queue just to be able to access the server. Also remember each brick you need to pick up is a brick that one of your teammates doesn't get. On Shotguns you are looking for the highest One-Hit-Kill range possible. Simply fire at your opponent's feet, and switch to a primary weapon such as recluse to finish them off. Pellet shotguns on the other hand can kill in one shot to the body making pellet shotguns much more forgiving and extremely easy to use comparatively. Sniper players on the other hand tend to get cross-map kills where they won't be replenishing their ammo from slain enemies very often. I use old class items or gauntlet sets to round out my double scavenger needs. It's practically the default place to find groups for the entire PC destiny playerbase. Effectively using a grenade launcher means learning the projectile drop and travel time of the grenades, plus learning how to lead moving targets and learning how the grenades ricochet off the walls and floors. This will subconciously train you to think about which weapon is best drawn in various scenarios and scales well into higher level play. Particularly with pulse rifle users since the extra damage from the enemy low health will kick in between shots. This gives you 3 ammo per green brick instead of 1. With quickdraw, Handling is effectively maxed so Range becomes the next best Stat. An exclusion filter allows a flair to be hidden from your browsing experience. With the void battery mod equipped it actually doubles your dodge cooldown.

Light Mode Become a Guardian of the Light. Pickup bricks, then share with your team. Frosts are my go-to outside of Survival. Max Range increases damage drop off for improved lethal kill ranges, whereas Stability helps tighten the bolt spread which can increase consistancy, whereas faster charge time will let you get off shots destiny 2 best pvp weapons 2020.

Slideshot is used for the reload on classes without an autoreload such as Hunters or Transversive Steps Warlock, and Snapshot Sights is considered best perk otherwise. Slug shotguns on the other hand are a unique type of shotgun, and boast higher OHKO ranges at the expense of needing a headshot to kill, but otherwise would require 2 body shots or a bodyshot plus a melee attack for lethal.

I wish I had Knucklehead for 6v6, but I usually end up running Fr0st instead. You very rarely pick up Power Ammo, and when you do, you want something that will simply win you every encounter you get into. This is where you will be picking your main weapon that you will be basing your playstyle around.

In fact the discord has become so popular it is out of room. Meanwhile Eva has read more her PvE list and that's available in the Discord Server for browsing already.

More taking into account how inconsistent they are. I honestly feel like yelling at my teammate so often then they pickup 5 green ammo bricks for no reason without letting any of their teammate get any.

I would love to use two scav perks. That said, I'm really surprised at how few here use Foetracer. I'll be breaking this list up into Kinetic and Energy slot weapons, although this Meta tends to prefer Kinetic Primary weapons due to the presence of strong exotics such as Thorn and Last Word.

You can run sub destiny 2 best pvp weapons 2020 and get your dodge back like you have max, or you can run max and get it back in stupid speed.

This allows you to use armor perks to supplement your weapons Scavenger, Dexterity, Unflinching, Targetting, Loader perks etc. Using 2 Primary weapons is a tough habit to break and using 2 primaries is severely limiting in terms of the strength of your loadouts.

Ducking into the caves? This skips the harsh learning curve and these grenades are much easier to use destiny 2 best pvp weapons 2020 PvP. Pull out your long range weapon. Special ammo guns are capable of 1 shot KO's and you want to put yourself in situations where you use your special ammo as often as possible.

Also you can take alot more potshots as a sniper and burn through ammo that much quicker, and having high ammo in reserves as a sniper gives you alot of confidence to take risky shots. I would rather get to mobility on my hunter using traction and running double primaries than get more CD on my dodge for a few more shotgun rounds.

This list is also made purely from MY opinions and preferences, so certain weapons such as auto rifles will probably not be listed as I don't think they are very good.

Note that guide was aimed mostly at giving newer players some goals and objectives to farm, as Destiny 2 can be overwhelming otherwise. And 2 scavenger perks are so nice for ammo efficiency. Happy birthday! It also recharged your grenade and melee, and sprint speed after dodging.

But I just had to go and get used to traction, now there's no going back. When you say doubles, do you mean makes the cooldown longer?

ALL players should try to become proficient at both shotguns and snipers; this allows you to be a very versatile player and gives you the ability to adapt to maps and counter certain enemy players who are on killstreaks. Opening shot is also an extremely strong perk. Always use 2x scavenger perks on your boots. You should try to pair short range primary weapons with long range special weapons and vice versa This allows you to be effective at a variety of ranges and will help increase your map presence and give you a clear idea of which weapon you should be holding at any given time. Traction should honestly just be an innate perk active at all times minus the mobility, of course. Another post did testing and basically found it halves your cooldowns with normal use. Fusion Rifle Mains will equip these and drop 20 kills a game, and non Fusion Riflers will equip one and struggle to get a single kill with them at all. However, certain Grenade launchers exist which detonate on impact with the ground, and these grenade launchers are much easier to use. Please note that this list is designed for PC players specifically, and although much of the information will still be relevant to controller players, certain differences regarding the way Aim Assist and Recoil affects weapons may cause slight differences in the Meta between platforms. I love seeing and reading posts like this though! Equip armor elements corresponding to your equipped guns' armor perks. Pull out your short range weapon. Just a few things there. I'll be including a few of the most solid choices for each and some honourable mentions. I can't use anything else in serious play, and I see it tied with wormhusk and stomps in usage. Moved old Intro section to the bottom: See Afterword at the end of guide for some background info and shoutouts! Just an FYI, the Frostees are fantastic on hunters now. Power weapons in PvP are a much simpler affair. A few of my personal recommendations for the strongest PvP Exotic armors to use in the crucible. We need more quality content like this.
